UT Permian Basin Students in Philanthropy is hosting its 1st Annual Santa Fun Run!
Students in Philanthropy is a product of initiative by the Abell-Hanger Foundation in Midland, Texas. Each fall semester, philanthropy members raise funds through creative events and diligent efforts. The Abell-Hanger Foundation matches raised funds and in the spring, members distribute funds to local non-profit organizations through the grant application process. Students in Philanthropy members are very active in the community, participating in events like Christmas in Action, the Salvation Army Bell Ringing, and Hunt for Heroes.
This holiday season, Students in Philanthropy have put together the 1st Annual Santa Fun Run in order to raise funds to go towards your local non-profits. Though it is a fun run, we would love to see runners and walkers of all levels and kinds. If you can't attend the fun run, we will also accept donations towards our cause. Online registration is available, but you may also register in person on the day of the event. Everyone who registers online is guaranteed a free Santa hat!
A registration form must be filled out and an event ticket must be purchased through Eventbrite in order to participate in the run. Liability forms will be signed on the day of the event at the "Pre-Registered" table. Fees and donations will be accepted through Eventbrite, or can be given at registration on the day of the event if registering in person. Registration begins at 8:00am, and the run will start at 9:00am.
